This movie from Blumhouse really hits the mark! It’s like what you'd get if you combined Groundhog's Day and Scream – a genuinely enjoyable film. I wasn’t expecting much going in, but I ended up being very pleased and thoroughly entertained. Jessica Rothe is wonderful; she brings depth and appeal to a character that could easily have been just another cliché. In an era dominated by rehashed ideas, Happy Death Day stands out thanks to its creative storyline and strong performances. It's absolutely worth seeing.
