This isn't the kind of movie I’d expect coming from experienced filmmakers. The acting is shockingly poor. Even established stars like Pacino and Urban are limited by how awful the script is. It seems, as with other movies in this vein, that those involved were trying to create a sense of realism through things like having characters stammer, shooting action sequences like amateur videos, or having performers gaze blankly with what’s supposed to be a profound (but really just vacant) look on their faces. Whoever funded "Hangman," whoever they are, they should reconsider their judgment and give me the money instead; I'd certainly put it to better use. I’m adding an extra star just for Al and Karl—you two are great. 26 November 2017 I’m moving my reviews from another site that has become unusable.
