It’s surprising to see so many negative comments about this production. In my view, the stage version translated exceptionally well to film. The cinematography was skillfully managed, with careful editing that incorporated overhead shots and close-ups, highlighting both the actors' abilities and how deeply they inhabited their characters. Seeing the set design from those elevated camera angles allowed for a much greater appreciation of its detail than would be possible in an actual theater seat. It’s difficult to adequately praise the composer, considering both the music and the lyrics. Hamilton is truly a brilliant work, demonstrating meticulous care in every aspect of its construction. Naturally, credit must also go to the writer of the original book; I imagine it was a substantial creative undertaking, even though I haven't had the chance to read it myself. I’m deeply impressed by Lin-Manuel Miranda, and I wholeheartedly recommend that people experience this remarkable achievement.
