It’s a decent movie, though not particularly striking. Halloween Kills wasn't quite as engaging or interesting as the 2018 film, yet like its predecessor, it fulfills its purpose and delivers something that is (just barely) worth seeing. I would have appreciated more development in the narrative; it really feels like a chapter in a larger story spanning three films. The movie spends more time with characters surrounding Jamie Lee Curtis, which isn’t necessarily a good thing considering how well she performs, but the actors do their jobs—though no one especially distinguishes themselves, at least in my view. Aside from the performers, the deaths are effective and the use of the recognizable musical score is perfect. I didn't particularly enjoy this; I was somewhat indifferent to it, but ultimately I believe it’s sufficient enough to be considered ‘good.’
