The latest installment, _Halloween_, is here, and its arrival establishes a completely new **fifth** storyline within the _Halloween_ series. This one’s actually pretty good; it makes a fair amount of sense. It's not flawless, and follows a fairly predictable course, but overall, it’s enjoyable. I feel like I should brace myself for some backlash again by bringing this up once more, but here it is: It’s kind of funny that many people who dislike the Rob Zombie _Halloween_ films (practically all horror enthusiasts) seem to enjoy this one, even though certain moments in the 2018 _Halloween_ appear to be directly taken from his work. _Final rating:★★★ - I enjoyed it.
