It’s not a particularly strong film, but it does feel like a minor improvement over Savage Beach and Picasso Trigger, though the significance of that is questionable. The performances are generally quite poor; Roberta Vasquez did manage to bring some presence to the screen. Mostly, I watched this feeling confused about what was happening. As far as I could tell, Juan Degas (Erik Estrada) is attempting to move firearms, with Hawaii serving as a location to refuel during transport to South America. His motivation for targeting these agents appears to be something like a diversion—or maybe I misunderstood. It seemed that his actions created more problems than they solved, even accounting for the fact that revenge played a role, since Donna’s father had previously tried to arrest him; it just all seems rather foolish when you think about it. Despite this, I didn't find myself enjoying it, which is something I usually experience with Andy Sidaris’s other films.
