The special effects are quite impressive, although the scenes featuring one of the antagonists, Parallax, suffer because he appears rather ridiculous. The narrative possesses some interesting layers, but the screenwriters seem to struggle to maintain simplicity for a younger audience—a double-edged sword, as it results in inconsistencies and moments that feel cheesy while still remaining enjoyable.
