It evokes Ocean's Eleven, but with a focus on cars rather than casinos. Gone in 60 Seconds is simply enjoyable. This action movie moves quickly and offers entertainment thanks to a Nicolas Cage performance at his best, beautiful vehicles, a great supporting group of actors, and an attitude that doesn’t shy away from being over-the-top. The film pulls you into the lives of thieves who care about each other and have their own set of rules. Learning more about these characters as the story unfolds creates suspense, because you start to worry about what might happen to them. While the storyline has moments that are a bit silly, they're offset by how well it’s all put together and the actors’ dedication to their roles. Nicolas Cage at his best elevates the entire movie, making it wonderful and charming.
