Godzilla vs. Kong shares a common problem with other monster matchups like Freddy vs. Jason and Alien vs. Predator—it focuses too much on human characters when viewers are primarily interested in seeing the monsters clash. If Legendary continues this series, they should consider an “All Monsters Attack” style story or something centered around Monster Island, where humans can simply observe while the creatures cause destruction for a couple of hours straight. The studio needs to stop including unnecessary human elements and attempting to present them as valuable content.
