It feels almost obligatory to give this a perfect score, yet I will. When a movie manages to genuinely amuse me, I consider it has fulfilled its purpose. And this one certainly does that. It’s not quite on par with films like "Lady in the Water" or "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil," but acknowledging that, it operated under significant financial constraints. Still, there are echoes of those earlier works. Similar to those movies, the story centers around people—specifically, the residents of a small apartment building—and their interactions form the heart of the film. The plot itself is secondary, serving more as a vehicle for exploring these characters rather than pushing any particular narrative. That’s perfectly acceptable, though. The individuals at the core of the story are engaging and distinctive enough to hold your attention. That alone makes it worthwhile, even if there isn't much horror involved. Go into this without high expectations; simply appreciate it for what it is. It may be something you watch once and then move on from, but it provides sufficient amusement to make the time spent enjoyable.
