The story felt hard to accept at times, but *’Girlfriend’s Day'* does manage to pull things off... barely. Bob Odenkirk delivers a solid performance. It feels almost like this could be a follow-up to *'Better Call Saul'*; several actors who were on that show also appear here, including Steven Michael Quezada and Ed Begley Jr.—I initially thought it was Tina Parker, but it turned out to be Stephanie Courtney instead. There are quite a few familiar faces involved, which is somewhat unexpected considering the film’s vibe, which feels like something you'd find filling space on Netflix; particularly given its length of just 70 minutes. Ultimately, it’s all agreeable enough. It's certainly an odd movie, so I understand why it wouldn’t appeal to everyone.
