The film manages to be somewhat enjoyable, apart from **THAT** impressive death sequence. It isn't without its problems, and the narrative itself is quite weak; however, I will concede that the twist ending provided some amusement. For those who appreciate seafaring horror but also enjoy something laughably poor to mock, this might appeal to you. The initial scene sticks with you for a reason, and it ultimately ended up dominating everything else in the film.
