It’s a genuinely enjoyable and unexpectedly revitalizing film. *Game Night* is certainly worth seeing. The story itself isn't overly complicated, but it’s presented in a really great way. There’s plenty of humor, and most of the performers are excellent. The cinematography also has some nice touches. Jason Bateman as Max and Rachel McAdams as Annie have wonderful chemistry together; they play off each other very well. Jesse Plemons' Gary almost completely dominates the film, though – his character is quite straightforward, but Plemons portrays him brilliantly, eliciting laughter even with subtle comedic moments. Jeffrey Wright also has a role, along with a particular Mr. Morgan. I’ve heard talk of possible sequels, and I would probably give them a look, but I'm somewhat apprehensive about the idea... I worry they might push it too far and cause it to lose its appeal quickly. It’s hard to say, though. If you have the chance, go see it.
