The movie centers on someone pretending to be the American President, who then sets out to eliminate ordinary people before initiating global destruction—a fairly standard villainous scheme. The script could have benefited from some work; many of the jokes fell short and felt basic, and the characters, while enjoyable and pleasant enough, lacked depth. What really stands out are the action scenes, which were spectacular, precisely planned, skillfully filmed with a lack of excessive camera shake, and genuinely thrilling—the fight on the cliff was particularly impressive. My wife and I both thought it made for an enjoyable experience.
