I went in with high hopes because it featured actors I enjoy such as Bruce Willis and Dwayne Johnson, anticipating something really good. It definitely delivered on action sequences, and those performers had memorable lines and parts to play. However, the film felt disjointed, like a flawed imitation of Small Soldiers combined with a Jackie Chan film—two distinct approaches that were only loosely connected near the very end. I still think they could have invested more time in refining the plot before production began.
