The familiar feeling of looking back returns once more. It’s been a constant presence on television during Christmas time since 1969 until the present day. For many families, watching it became an annual holiday custom... ...and regrettably, that tradition is now being imitated by numerous lesser-quality animated programs, even mimicking its visual style in their inferior versions.... ...nevertheless, roughly two generations of children in America experienced this as a standard part of Christmas celebrations, alongside Rudolph and the televised puppet Santa. It holds the same significance for the holiday season as "It's a Wonderful Life" and "A Christmas Story," having been passed down through families over time. Sadly, it appears less frequently now, being superseded by newer programs that lack the established connection with audiences across generations.
