I recently watched this film on Netflix. Typically, I’m a big fan—a really big fan—of French Canal+ co-productions. However, this one seems to be an outlier. The beginning was promising, but then the movie just became unexpectedly violent; seemingly "just for laughs." I enjoy action and violence as much as the next person, but this felt pointless. Or at least, that's how it appeared. But the ending—that final stretch of time—was a surprise. It completely caught me off guard.
