It’s enjoyable to watch *Friday*. Before seeing it, my only knowledge was about the main actors and their frequently referenced line; it’s always entertaining to witness the origins of popular jokes, and I anticipated its appearance. Ice Cube and Chris Tucker work well together in this film. Several other performers are memorable, with a good number of familiar faces among them. Nia Long, Regina King, and Bernie Mac were the most recognizable to me, along with John Witherspoon and Faizon Love. The storyline might have benefited from some additional depth, although the final part is satisfying.
