It seems we were mistaken about Jason’s demise; he appears at the morgue following what was believed to be a fatal injury. Naturally, he comes back and demonstrates his status as an unstoppable force of destruction. I wouldn't want to reside close to Camp Crystal Lake presently. Essentially, this is a typical 1980s slasher film, though that doesn’t automatically make it appealing beyond the most dedicated followers of the Friday the 13th series. The violence and bloodshed are plentiful, messy, and creative, but the storyline feels worn out. Crispin Glover has an unusual cameo, and a youthful Corey Feldman delivers a performance reminiscent of Damien Thorn. Opinions among fans vary considerably; some enjoy it while others dislike it intensely. The real question is, knowing that this wasn't meant to be the last installment, how does it measure up against the subsequent films in the gory sequence?
