I chose to watch another Friday the 13th film recently, and it brought back why this one isn’t among my favorites in the franchise. While there were parts that I enjoyed, the storyline involving Shelly was just not great. Seeing it without 3D also didn't help; the scenes designed for a three-dimensional presentation felt distracting. That said, I thought the female lead was good and I always appreciate Jason’s hockey mask. **3.0/5**
