The quality of *Friday After Next* aligns with that of its predecessor, which might be a positive if you were fond of the earlier film; I wasn’t, and therefore didn't find much to enjoy here either. It feels like a bit of a step down from the last installment, but essentially it’s just as tedious. Ice Cube and Mike Epps reprise their roles, as do John Witherspoon and Don Curry. Terry Crews and Katt Williams join the cast, bringing at least a small spark of novelty; they're largely responsible for whatever little amusement arises, with perhaps Bebe Drake contributing too. It appears a new film, apparently called *Last Friday*, is planned sometime down the line. It’s hard to see the point unless Chris Tucker comes back, though there’s likely someone who will want to watch it.
