I’ll readily concede that I enjoy action-packed films, but even so, this has to be one of my all-time favorites. I’ve collected it across different formats—VHS, DVD, and Blu-ray—and have probably seen it hundreds of times over the years. It's a genuinely pleasant movie with romantic elements. The characters are delightful to watch, and the dialogue is so memorable that my wife and I often incorporate lines from it into our everyday conversations. Many criticize Kevin Kline’s French accent, but they’re mistaken; he actually speaks French fluently.
