I’m not ready to declare _Freddy vs. Jason_ a genuinely good movie. However, I'll be truthful and say that I enjoy it immensely. It pulls humor from the later installments of both franchises—the strange, otherworldly yet witty tone of _Elm Street_, combined with the high death toll characteristic of _Friday the 13th_—and how could anyone resist something like that? The performances aren't great, the special effects are pretty bad, the writing is amateurish, and it shows a complete disregard for the established storylines of both series; still, it’s incredibly easy to watch again no matter what you're doing. _Final rating:★★★½ - I enjoyed it quite a bit. I definitely suggest checking it out._
