I'm not prepared to declare _Freddy vs. Jason_ a genuinely excellent film. However, I’ll be truthful when I say that I enjoy it immensely. It pulls comedic elements from the later installments of both franchises—the strange, otherworldly and witty tone of _Elm Street_, combined with the high number of kills characteristic of _Friday the 13th_—and how could anyone resist something like that? The performances aren't great, the special effects are far-fetched, the writing is amateurish, and it shows a complete disregard for the established storylines of both series; still, it’s incredibly easy to watch again no matter when you decide to do so. _Final rating:★★★½ - I genuinely liked this. I would definitely suggest checking it out._
