It’s alright, nothing spectacular, and I don’t foresee myself revisiting it, but it could be suitable for those seeking something different during the holidays. I enjoy seeing Vince Vaughn portray violence against Santa Claus as much as anyone, yet I'm not particularly fond of Vince Vaughn’s performances in general. I would have preferred to see Paul Giamatti take on the role of Santa, if I'm being honest. Kevin Spacey’s performance is jarring—or perhaps it’s his character—and a narrative requires a convincing antagonist. A petulant, immature child trapped within an adult’s form simply doesn't work for me, particularly when placed in a Christmas-themed story.
