It’s clear that artificial intelligence had too much involvement in crafting this film's story. Watching it felt like Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan gave an AI program some ideas for scenes—things they wanted to include—and then simply filmed whatever the computer generated. While it seemed like both actresses genuinely enjoyed being on set, their performances weren’t quite enough to sustain the entire movie. The brief appearances by other actors were pleasant, but the obvious and awkwardly inserted advertising felt intrusive. I began viewing the film anticipating a disappointing experience, and that's exactly what occurred. I will happily return to watching the earlier version starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan repeatedly, but this one is a single viewing at most.
