The film began promisingly with its intriguing mystery, but later on, the tone seemed misplaced, occasionally drifting into lighter comedic territory. Harrison Ford delivered an adequate performance, and Emmanuelle Seigner was also acceptable; however, I can’t help but think that Brian De Palma's direction might have served it better than Polanski’s. 3.25/5
