Mia Goth dominates the screen; the more you observe her performance, the clearer it becomes that she embodies each role completely, in a way that’s unlike anything else. The imagery is strikingly beautiful and vibrant, utilizing dark colors to create a gorgeous, gothic atmosphere throughout. A fresh understanding emerges, centered on feelings of isolation, past hurts, and a desire to belong within this existence—a life we know. Valuable lessons are experienced and lived, however fleetingly, before the relentless search through solitude begins again. It's a stunning and memorable adaptation of a beloved story I’ve waited years to see in any form. Fans of Gothic literature, particularly those familiar with the Frankenstein novel, absolutely need to experience this film.
