This feels like exactly what I look for in a movie. It’s full of suspense, and a genuine mystery that lasts until the credits roll. I could easily write an extensive analysis of the film, but I suspect it would just echo what others have already pointed out. My one reservation concerns Anthony Hopkins' performance. I genuinely like watching Anthony Hopkins; he’s undeniably talented and worthy of all praise. However, his roles tend to fall into a predictable pattern. He’s frequently cast as someone exceptionally intelligent, enigmatic, and possessing great wisdom. While this makes him compelling, it’s a type we’ve encountered repeatedly. The amusing thing is that it still doesn't become tiresome. I have to commend him for his skill in keeping us engaged with what is essentially the same character again and again. Would I choose to watch this film again? Probably, but only if it’s on television and there are no other options available. Would I recommend it to my friends? Maybe.
