I had a positive experience watching 'Four Christmases', although its quality declines somewhat as it progresses. The initial concept and how things were introduced held my interest; while not flawless in delivery, it results in an enjoyable Christmas film. The story does become a little predictable, but there’s sufficient content to maintain viewer engagement. It was also a good decision on their part to keep the length brief, at 88 minutes. Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon work well together; I sensed the required connection between them. Robert Duvall, Jon Voight, Mary Steenburgen, and Jon Favreau are among those who have memorable roles. It's a decent film. If it had maintained that initial momentum, my rating would likely be somewhat higher.
