It’s hard not to feel sorry for the man who goes to meet his sweetheart and finds something completely unexpected! He comes back with a police officer, only to discover "Pepé" cheerfully creating his own perfume blend in the shop! You can imagine how unpleasant that must be. Maybe a wandering cat could offer some assistance? Unless, of course, it ends up covered in white hair dye and begins believing it’s become a skunk as well. Is (unreturned) affection floating around? There's an amusing sequence towards the conclusion featuring a rather diverting mirror trick, but beyond that, this hasn’t been my preferred cartoon character, and the plot seems to exist simply to paint him in various shades. It is perfectly acceptable to view it, but there’s nothing remarkable about it.
