The film carries a great deal of sincerity and emotion, and there were moments when it was truly difficult to witness; however, the drama and the depiction of wrongdoing feel so exaggerated that they ultimately undermined what the filmmakers seemed to be aiming for. The excessive camera movement—it made me feel nauseous about twenty minutes in—certainly didn't improve matters. Handling a subject like this demands considerable expertise and sensitivity, and it’s clear those involved weren't adequately prepared.
