It's an enjoyable film that I’d happily view again and suggest to others. Similar to a combination of “Hostel” and “The Game,” this survival thriller, made with limited resources and possessing a dark, rough feel, builds tension effectively in segments. Essentially, it embodies the concept of a "crazy Russian escape room," and while the actors perform adequately, I believe the core idea puts some limitations on the film's potential. Because maintaining suspense requires withholding information, certain elements are inevitably curtailed. Consequently, viewers won’t get all that they might desire from this experience. I realize pleasing everyone is impossible, but there’s a point where you risk disappointing more people than satisfying them. The movie incorporates some interesting psychological elements, though a deeper understanding would likely come with a second viewing; I'm not sure if it would ultimately provide much beyond that. Although I believe this film merits attention, particularly for those interested in escape room alternate reality games, “Escape Room” or "The Game" are probably better choices to prioritize watching first.
