‘Fixed’ is, to put it mildly, a complete disappointment. It manages to be worse than 2023's *'Strays'*, and that’s really saying something about this 2025 movie. These so-called 'adult animated' films always pique my curiosity; I wonder who the intended audience is? Is it adolescent humor geared toward adults?! Crude humor can work, but I wish they wouldn't consistently resort to such lowbrow material – just bodily functions and sexual jokes, apparently, even when featuring dogs. Every moment of this film is simply brainless. I realize that any blame here rests with me. Despite knowing very little about it, the small amount of information I did have suggested what I was getting myself into. Still, I watched it, hoping that eventually one of these 'adult animated' releases would prove to be worthwhile... There’s absolutely no originality present; it feels incredibly careless. It’s hard to believe people actually wrote this—they’re among us, which is a bit unsettling! The voice actors aren’t much better either, with Idris Elba being the only one who’s even slightly acceptable (hearing him drop profanity is mildly entertaining). You can have all the crude comedy you want, but at least give it a plot that's somewhat logical and engaging; the jokes should be integrated into the film, not define it completely. And lastly... I feel bad for Andrea Bocelli—they’re letting just anyone use his music, aren't they? I haven’t looked to see how this has been received yet… surely not any better than my own opinion? *checks* you are being too generous. If you enjoy this then fine, whatever. It’s one of the worst movies I’ve seen, in my view.
