This feels like what a Five Nights at Freddy's film ought to be, considerably superior to the initial installment. It genuinely focuses on the horror elements, and it presents as a more expansive production overall. The visuals are noticeably better, and there’s an abundance of Easter eggs—hardcore fans will pick up on many, though some will likely go unnoticed quickly. The animatronics were fantastic, which is attributable to the work of the Jim Henson Company. The voice acting was also quite good; those who had reservations about Megan Fox portraying Toy Chica will probably be pleasantly surprised, as she captured the character’s essence while still bringing her own interpretation. MatPat's vocal performance as Toy Bonnie was nearly impossible to identify. Kellen Goff delivered another outstanding performance. My main criticism would be that the film moves very quickly and could have been better with a longer duration; also, certain sections of the writing and dialogue felt awkward. However, that ending was something else—it concluded on a significant cliffhanger, and it’s worth sticking around for the post-credits scene, as it's wild. This is a substantial step up from the first film.
