Coming from someone who considers the first movie to be a largely overlooked work of art, this one didn’t quite live up to expectations. I was somewhat let down. The film felt too brief given its scope, and it struggled to maintain focus throughout. There's a sense that numerous secondary storylines are introduced without meaningfully advancing the central narrative, leading to a hurried conclusion that feels cut off. It’s unfortunate because the storyline involving Marionette/Charlotte is exceptionally well-done, the last half hour provides some chaotic fun, and the robotic toys are presented in a satisfying way. Despite these positives, it was an enjoyable experience with a wonderful musical score; however, the story itself could have benefited from more development.
