It’s merely another unnecessary reimagining, and truthfully, I didn’t think the original from 1984 was particularly good either. It wasn't offensively bad, but it also failed to stand out in any significant way. The acting felt lifeless, and even the special effects weren’t that noteworthy. I suppose it’s acceptable to view if you have access through Peacock Premium, but honestly, seeing it isn’t a big loss. **2.25/5**
