It’s perfectly acceptable, but ultimately unremarkable. The 1982 film *Firefox* had the potential to be more captivating and enjoyable, but it simply doesn’t quite reach that level. It’s easy enough to watch, I suppose, but it didn't really leave a lasting impression on me. The movie runs for 136 minutes, which feels a bit extended; however, if it were genuinely thrilling, the length wouldn’t be an issue. The cast is decent: Clint Eastwood delivers a reliable performance, although most of the other actors are fairly easy to overlook—Warren Clarke is acceptable, I suppose. Interestingly, and I only realized this after checking the online credits, John Ratzenberger makes an appearance! I think this marks the first time I’ve seen Eastwood in a fighter jet since *Tarantula* from 1955, for those interested in that kind of detail. The special effects haven't stood up well to the test of time—though I can excuse that. It isn’t essential viewing, but I would say it’s worth watching at least once.
