The special effects, particularly those depicting the abduction and spacecraft, were decent given when this film was made; I first watched it years ago during my X-Files phase, and even then it didn't impress me much, and that hasn’t changed upon revisiting it. The performances were passable, with Robert Patrick being a highlight. I’d like to see a documentary exploring the actual events and the public reaction surrounding what appears to have been a fabrication. **2.75/5**
