This movie just isn't very thrilling, and it didn’t live up to expectations compared to the earlier ones. That wasn't a huge shock, since most people online seem to agree that the first two are good, the third and fourth aren't great, but the fifth one is supposedly better again. It looks like the person who made this film took some easy routes, resulting in a typical teen horror movie filled with gore. There’s no effort put into writing a worthwhile story or finding actors who can perform well. Instead, it relies on scantily clad characters to attract a younger audience, and those characters are killed off frequently in increasingly gruesome scenes. I don't mind the violence—it is a horror film after all—but I wish it was presented with at least some intelligence. You need every movie to complete a collection, so I’m not sorry that I purchased the set, but this one won’t be getting a repeat viewing anytime soon.
