My assessment of this movie hinges entirely on the performance of the main actor, and frankly, it’s terrible. The editing is jarring; they keep switching between scenes of a waterfall, his car, and then just him, over and over—it’s really off-putting. I recall reading a book once where the ending was described with excessive detail about a character's intimate encounter, and it left me feeling uncomfortable enough to shut the book abruptly while staring at a photo of the author grinning back at me. It made me wonder what the point of including such graphic content was. There’s no logical reason for these abrupt shifts between peaceful scenery and chaotic action. The car itself is admittedly nice. But I have to say, it doesn't redeem things. No one will consider you a success in this role. I believe there's potential here; maybe focus on developing a character who is perceptive about others’ feelings but also an intelligent investigator, skilled yet hesitant when it comes to violence. Let’s introduce Colter Shaw into the mix with these women. There are aspects of this film that did amuse me—I genuinely laughed several times. However, I'm feeling emotionally fragile after receiving news from Chiquita about her surgery and ongoing recovery. I think I finished watching it in roughly 30 minutes, and I rewatched certain sections. Is Andy Dick even in this? I’m determined to find out.
