Those who appreciate dramatic films will likely find it worthwhile; it stands out as one of the best dramas released this year, though not necessarily the greatest ever made. The film’s strength lies primarily in the acting—the performers deliver truly impressive work. A screenplay written nearly 35 years ago and a story set in the 1950s still feel relevant and impactful.
