This De Palma film isn’t among his best work, though the direction and performances are decent enough; I found it was just… alright. Even after multiple viewings—I believe this was my third time—the ending still didn't quite land for me. The “it was all a dream” reveal felt like an unfair trick. Still, within the category of mainstream erotic thrillers, it’s something to check out if that kind of movie appeals to you; spending two hours with it isn’t unpleasant. 3.0/5
