It’s an enjoyable film that I would happily view again and suggest to others. If possible, it might be worthwhile to see this before "Fear Street Part One 1994." I believe Sadie Sink's performance is a significant strength; she’s a remarkable actress, and although the movie doesn't hinge on her shoulders, she stands out whenever she appears with other performers. It isn't presented as an origin story, but it follows the structure of one quite effectively. The introduction of Ziggy and the curse of Sarah Fear happens all at once in a disturbing sequence. The filmmakers took an unexpectedly restrained approach; they depict older students being killed, but avoid showing younger children’s deaths. I was surprised by this, considering the amount of blood and injuries shown—though it isn't particularly graphic, at least not in this installment. Even if considered on its own merits, for those who enjoy campy films or slasher movies, it is definitely worth your time.
