This was just not an enjoyable experience. I really didn’t like 'Falling for Christmas', and there are several factors contributing to that feeling. The acting is a problem; most of the performers weren't engaging enough to hold my attention, although Sean Dillingham stood out in his limited screen time. The plot itself also failed to impress me—it’s formulaic, dull, and feels familiar from other stories I’ve encountered. The film brings Lindsay Lohan back for a significant role, which is nice to see, but her performance isn't one that will stick with me. Honestly, if I didn’t know who the actress was, I wouldn’t have even registered Sierra as a distinct character. The pairing of Lohan and Chord Overstreet doesn’t help matters either; they both seem to be operating at roughly the same level in terms of material given to them, but together they just lacked any genuine spark or connection. The Christmas atmosphere is okay, I suppose, but even that felt like a stretch trying to find something positive about it. It's simply not good!
