Fall delivers a genuinely unsettling experience rooted in one of humanity's most common anxieties—a fear that produces sweaty palms and nervous tension. It’s essentially an acrophobe's worst dream realized, and the film leverages this simple idea to create a visceral, intensely frightening action movie centered on extreme heights. The effect is truly dizzying. Oddly enough, it manages to be both straightforward and challenging to watch simultaneously. I often had to pause what I was watching just to recover from my own feelings of dread and apprehension. There were moments when I found myself holding my breath and jumping. I became deeply concerned for the main characters, hoping they would manage to escape their terrible situation, even though their choice to ascend a clearly deteriorated tower seemed incredibly foolish.
