It turned out this long wait was justified... Initially, I thought it was really clever how they presented the flashback sequence; the visual style mimicked footage from an older camera, giving it a feel like something shot in the late 1980s or early 1990s. It seemed like a direct reference to the original Fast & Furious movie. I'll admit I was initially puzzled by what the flashback was trying to convey, but about halfway through the film, things began to click into place! I’m awarding it 5 stars for several reasons: they really went all out with the car-mounted rocket launcher, the editing choices made for the flashbacks were excellent, and bringing back characters from Tokyo Drift was a nice touch. It successfully blended humor with impressive action sequences, alongside a theme of redemption, plus there's a post-credits scene with Jason Statham! And naturally, Han’s unexpected reappearance and explanation of how he survived definitely raised some questions that need to be addressed. Beyond all that, the storyline itself was exceptionally well crafted.
