I didn’t think *‘Extraction’* was truly awful; it wasn’t particularly impressive either, but I wouldn’t call it terrible. It struck me as a decent, fairly brisk action movie. It is one of those productions that seems to rely on the presence of a recognizable actor—in this case, Bruce Willis—but he doesn't get much screen time. That’s disappointing; it feels strange to include someone like Willis and not make him central to the plot – probably due to money or availability problems, but still frustrating. Kellan Lutz carries the film as the lead, and I believe he performs adequately, as does Gina Carano, who also appeared in *'Fast & Furious’*. Also appearing are Steve Coulter and Joshua Mikel, both of whom were on *‘The Walking Dead’*. I concur that the plot isn't particularly captivating or exciting, but I didn't find it bothersome while watching. It lacks substance, but it's not dreadful—at least, that was my impression. If you want a worthwhile action film with this title, I suggest checking out the 2020 version starring Chris Hemsworth; it’s considerably better.
