It was an enjoyable film, though unlikely to be rewatched, and I can certainly suggest it. I always appreciate seeing Gina Carano in action sequences, however Kellan Lutz really drives the narrative forward, with Bruce Willis and Carano playing supporting roles. While decent as an action movie, its status as a spy thriller proves problematic. The story centers on intelligence gathering, highlighting the CIA, but for some reason portrays it as a private military force rather than a foreign-based intelligence organization—similar to an overseas FBI, but without firearms. Even operatives like assassins should technically be contracted out and unavailable domestically. The reasoning behind a device that compromises everything feels insufficient, and the action is only passable when measured against other films in the genre, though it’s executed effectively. The most captivating elements of the movie are revealed later on, hinting at something beyond what seems to be a rather uninspired central storyline; ultimately, it's an average but still good cinematic experience.
