I have to say, I really enjoyed 'Evil Dead Rise'. However, this was disappointing. My expectations were high for the 2023 film, and it didn't meet them. The performances weren’t particularly memorable, and the plot felt uninspired. I couldn't find any mention of the Necronomicon. I understood there were supposed to be three separate narratives centered around three different books, but the Necronomicon was absent from what I saw. The unexpected appearance of a celebrity didn’t make sense within the context of the film. I’m holding out hope that this will be the weakest entry in the series, since the next one is reportedly a prequel.
